Job's Just Around the Corner written and performed by Imogene Chapin

As the overall experience in California has changed a lot of families many wished they could go back to their homes. However, the reality was that there was nothing back home and they would have to make due with what they have. In the novel it was Casy who mention how the family should go back home and learn how to work the tractors.

In Jobs Just Around the Corner Imogene mentions in the end that she has thought of returning home, but that she has gotten used to life in California.
